Inside a Houseplant HavenPosted March 28 2013
Is it possible to have too many houseplants? If so, Brooklyn resident Summer Rayne Oaks is guilty of it.
This model/activist/botanist has turned her apartment into a vertical garden by filling it with more than 200 living plant specimens. It was an investment, she says, but it’s well worth it considering how beneficial it is to her interior, her air, and her mood. And we admit, it looks pretty awesome.
Should you decide to attempt something similar, we think it has further budget-friendly implications. If someone suggests splurging on a trip to the rainforest, you can politely decline—after all, you have a mini version installed in your home, including your lovely air plants.
