Roots in Rust at the American Crafts Show

To all Roots in Rust Friends and Fans,

Have you ever found yourself in a situation that made you think:  “Wow, I wish I could do this but I don’t think I’m ready.”

That’s the thought that came into my mind when I read the invitation from the American Arts Marketing organizers a few months ago. They asked if I was interested in participating in the American Crafts Show at the Jacob Javits Center during the weekend of October 19th-21st.

While I was excited that they reached out to me, I also instantly felt nervous. To put my mind to ease, I decided to contact artists and designers who attended the show in the past and are returning this year. The encouragement I received from them was overwhelming, and at the end I almost felt foolish for ever wondering whether I should go.

If you are a NYC native or are in town that weekend, stop by and see me along with hundreds of other artists and designers sharing their passion with the world! I will have my latest air plant arrangements – some larger scale installations, as well as small one-of-a-kind gifts.

Here is the link to the show’s website and a coupon you can use at the entrance!

Crossing my fingers while taking the leap, and wish you luck with yours, whatever the challenge may be!
Hope to see you at the show – I’ll be at booth #242!
